Comic-Con 2008: Part One
Hello everyone. As I mentioned earlier, I’m in San Diego this week for Comic-Con and so I thought you might think it cool to see some of the stuff that I’ve seen this week.
Let me just say that there really aren’t alot of places where you’ll see a sign like this BUT comic con. That pretty much sets the tone for the week. Now some of the more crazy stuff I’m not going to put online because I do have some kids that check out the strip once in a while but let me tell you the place is full of crazy!
For those of you who are not comic book geeks like myself let me attempt to explain how cool this contraction is. Next winter a movie called “The Watchmen” is being released. The movie is based on the huge comic book of the same name. (we upscale geeks refer to this as a “graphic novel” 
) In the story one of the characters has an airship that flies all over the place called “Archie”. This is the “Archie” they are using in the movie. It’s very close in appearance to how it was depicted in the book.
… this was very, very, cool.
